POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW / RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (ND0002)
Successful candidates will study the roles and the effect of genetic risk factors in neurodegenerative diseases through a systems approach, involving epigenetic, transcriptomic, and proteomics analysis. They will also be required to process and analyse human tissues, including frozen brain tissues and paraffin blocks. The positions provide exchange opportunities and the successful candidates will work closely with renowned laboratories at international institutions.
Applicants should have a PhD degree in life science; background in neuroscience, neuroanatomy or a related field; and research experience in human tissues, histology and immunohistology. Knowledge of neuro-pathology, genomic DNA, RNA, and biochemistry techniques is preferred. The appointee should possess outstanding communication skills and strong passion and commitment to science, and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary and diverse team.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience. Medical and dental benefits as well as annual leave will be provided. Appointment will be offered on a contract basis, renewable subject to mutual agreement and performance.
