Manager / Assistant Manager (Project Management) (ND0057)

Duties

The Center is looking for a high-calibre individual who can work well in a dynamic and multi-tasking environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Management to support the planning and implementation of major initiatives for the long-term strategic development plans.

The appointee will be responsible for various projects. Major duties include (a) overseeing multiple projects and supporting the project teams and leaders on various ad-hoc tasks; (b) monitoring project schedules and removing roadblocks and refining project roadmaps; c) coordinating with different central units and external parties to facilitate the smooth running of the projects; (d) creating project documents and keeping records; and (e) monitoring project resources, budget and financial planning.

Requirements

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of work experience in project management or strategic initiatives, preferably in NGO or academic/research setting. Experience with not-for-profit organization or university-led research project is a plus. The ideal candidate should be highly self-organized and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Candidate with less work experience will be appointed as Assistant Manager (Project Management).

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience. Medical and dental benefits as well as annual leave will be provided. Appointment will be offered on a contract basis. (Duration: 2 years), renewable subject to mutual agreement and performance.
