Duties
Assist in an established laboratory and provision of related facilities, operation and maintenance of the laboratory, procurement of laboratory equipment and regents; manage inventory of laboratory equipment and items; maintain and operate all shared laboratory facilities; establish and maintain laboratory standard operating procedures; and assist in the R&D projects where required.
Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in biological or biomedical sciences, at least 3-4 years’ relevant experience; knowledge in laboratory setting and practice will be an asset. A team player with a story sense of responsibility, independent, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills; knowledge in general laboratory and research equipment management and competent in MS Office is preferable. On-the-job training will be provided.
Salary and Benefits
A highly competitive salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience in addition to medical and dental benefits as well as annual leave. The appointment will be offered on a contract basis, renewable subject to mutual agreement and performance.
