Research Assistant

We are looking for highly energetic and motivated Research Assistants to join the Hong Kong Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases. In this role, you will support our cutting‑edge molecular neuroscience and/or genetics‑based research programs, contributing to impactful projects aimed at advancing the understanding of neurodegenerative disorders.

Duties & responsibilities

Duties

• Handling and managing clinical specimens in accordance with established protocols
• Conducting molecular biology experiments
• Performing cell culture techniques
• Executing cell‑based assays
• Maintaining and updating laboratory inventory
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline
• Prior experience in clinical or hospital settingsis preferred
• Experience in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics will be considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently
• Strong organizational, communication, and record‑keeping skills
