We are looking for highly energetic and motivated Research Assistants to join the Hong Kong Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases. In this role, you will support our cutting‑edge molecular neuroscience and/or genetics‑based research programs, contributing to impactful projects aimed at advancing the understanding of neurodegenerative disorders.
Duties
- Handling and managing clinical specimens in accordance with established protocols
- Conducting molecular biology experiments
- Performing cell culture techniques
- Executing cell‑based assays
- Maintaining and updating laboratory inventory
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline
- Prior experience in clinical or hospital settingsis preferred
- Experience in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently
- Strong organizational, communication, and record‑keeping skills
